John Golden

John grew up in a very musical family in Ohio, singing in the church choir and live on the radio as the Golden Quartet. In high school John formed his own band named "The Uncalled Four" where he was lead singer and played guitar. He also set up a recording studio in the attic of his parent's home and recorded his band as well as many musicians from the surrounding area. After high school John was signed to Warner Bros. JJ Golden

A second generation mastering engineer, JJ started working for Golden Mastering in 1998. Coming from a passionate background in music, recording and songwriting, he studied sound engineering at S.A.E -School of audio Engineering in London, UK. April started the family mastering business with her dad, John Golden in 1994. She has taken on many responsibilities of the business from studio manager to mastering engineer. She has spent thousands of hours working closely with her dad and learning almost everything about mastering from him.
